Faulty blackberry torch 9800 +

have a red blackberry torch 9800 does not turn on but red light flashes and shows that the battery is charging sometimes not sure about how to fix it so just want to swap for a smartphone which works [e.g blackberry, htc, samsung or any other smart phone considered]. the torch is in very good condition only 2 months old 50 pound ono.
